FAQs
Where can I find information on sizing?
Comprehensive size charts can be found here to help you determine your ideal size.
Does Custom Made-to-Measure sizing cost more?
No! Made-to-Measure suits are the same price as the standard sizes.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders will be dispatched within 10 working days from the date your payment is received. Shipping times depend on your location.
Why does my order take so long before it is dispatched?
Each piece of Tide Swimwear is made-to-order. This means we get to work cutting and sewing swimmers just for you once we receive your order.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on your location and your shipping preference. For standard shipping within Australia, we charge a flat rate of $10 AUD. For express shipping within Australia, we charge a flat rate of $15 AUD. For more detailed information including international shipping, please see our Shipping and Returns page found here.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Unfortunately, due to the made-to-order nature of Tide Swimwear, returns and exchanges are not possible. For this reason, please be extra careful when selecting your size and refer to the size charts to find your perfect fit.
What is so special about the fabric?
The solid colour fabrics we use in Tide Swimwear pieces are made from a regenerated nylon fibre from post-consumer materials. The print fabrics are made from 78% recycled fibres. Both fabrics, as well as being sustainable, are of an exceptional quality. The fabrics are smooth and soft, yet extra strong, and will not stretch out of shape. They are 4.5 times more resistant to chlorine than your average swimwear fabric, and have a sun protection rating of UPF 50+.
What is Deadstock fabric?
Deadstock fabric is the name given to material when big international companies don't use up a complete run of fabric. This leftover fabric can then be bought so it doens't end up in landfil. Deadstock fabric is often very limited in quantity, so once it sells out, we can't ever reproduce it - it is strictly limited edition!
How do I care for my swimwear?
Cold hand wash or gentle machine wash in a lingerie bag with a mild detergent. Line dry out of direct sunlight. Do not soak, bleach, spin dry, tumble dry, dry clean or iron. Avoid any rough surfaces such as pool edges or rough ground. Do not pack or store when wet, instead remove any excess water and dry without delay. Separate light and dark colours before washing. Avoid excess contact with harsh chemicals such as deodorants, make-up or perfume, as well as the harsh chemicals sometimes found in saunas, spas and pools.
